Venture Catalysts enters in Faridabad to cater to Industrialists

Venture Catalysts, India’s first, largest and pioneering integrated incubator and accelerator platform, recently organized an outreach program in Faridabad to connect with a growing community of investors, industrialists and HNIs in the area and showcase start-ups as a high potential asset class to them. The program is the first step of Venture Catalysts’ objective to establish an incubator center in Faridabad for emerging start-ups and leverage the industrial infrastructure to create an ideal Launchpad for start-ups. The event took place on 13th July at Radisson Blu Faridabad.

The event was attended by several luminaries and leading business figures including Mr. S K Jain- Indo Autotech limited, Dr. S K Goel – Star Wire India Ltd, Mr. Rakesh Gupta – RPS Group India, Mr. Ravinder Gupta – PR PACKAGINGS ltd, Mr. Manoj Tantia – Techno Springs India Pvt Ltd. and Mr. Suresh Chandra – Grand Columbus Schools among others.

Aayushi Jain and Rishabh Jain, Managing Partners for VCats Faridabad had an extensive experience working with start-ups and had an in-depth understanding of the growing potential of Faridabad to emerge as a start-up hub. Simultaneously, the community of investors and HNIs was also growing, but they lacked a single-point action oriented framework which would make their sporadic investments much more streamlined and optimized. The outreach program was initiated to establish VCats as a facilitator in this role, connecting investors to start-ups and allow businesses to grow faster in the times to come.

Commenting on the event, Aayushi said, “VCats’ Faridabad event was a great success that witnessed extensive participation from members of the Faridabad business community. It was graced by the presence of 170+ industrialists, HNIs and investors from Faridabad. 3 start-ups also presented their business ideas to the audience in a highly engaging session that received great appreciation from the participants. The entire session was quite an eye opener for most of the audience since they have never participated in this asset class, and expressed their interest to become a member of the Venture Catalysts and start investing in startups together.”

Dr. Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, Co-Founder, Venture Catalysts, was present as a guest of honour at the event. HE enlightened the participants with his extensive business knowledge, experiential insights and expertise across domains. He spent a lot of time on stage informing the audience about the advantages of angel investing, and how it promises much more than high returns for investors. Commenting on the event, he said, “Aayushi and Rishabh have done a great job at realizing the first-of-its-kind investment outreach program in Faridabad. The infrastructure is strong in the area, as is the desire for doing something new in the business community. It needed a platform to bring innovation and disruption closer to the industrial community for effective collaboration to result in businesses fit for the future. “

Rishabh Jain added, “The immediate aim of the event s to get the HNI community in Faridabad participate in an alternate asset class, i.e. start-ups. Once a strong base is established, the Faridabad center can then be utilized as an incubation center to identify businesses and entrepreneurs with a great chance to succeed and provide them the necessary environment they need to thrive and realize their business vision.”
