Vantec Secures Data Drives with 2.5″ & 3.5″ EZ Swap Rack Storages

Vantec Thermal Technologies, a worldwide leader specializing in computer accessories, storage and mobile solutions, today launched the EZ Swap M2500 series 2.5″ rack storage and Vantec EZ Swap M3500 Series 3.5″ rack storage through their national distributor Prime ABGB. These have been designed to secure the data drives from physical manhandling.

Vantec EZ Swap M2500 and EZ Swap M3500 series storage design is perfect match for rack mount or desktop/tower chassis, the solid aluminum frame design off­ers excellent strength and heat dissipation properties, versatility to add SATA-6Gps or SAS-6Gps HDD/SDDs but without the weight. The Rapid air exchanged by cooling fans will purge out hot air and draws in cool air to keep all drives in cool state and increase the durability of drives.

 

 

Durable aluminum drive tray design offers security lock to prevent removal of drives and is it also equipped with a clear LED indicators to report on the activities of the drives, fan and temperature. Patented design of vibration reduces springs dampens vibration to help extend the life of the drives and the quick guide rails for smooth hot swapping of drives to reduce noise.

 

Any 2.5″ SATA I, II, III, SAS I, II HDDs (up to 14.5mm) or SSDs can be used from user in any bay, linked to selected drive controller. The Specially designed backplane design helps for integration of storage to one central location for easier manageability and monitoring in any chassis to use less space. The versatile design provides an easy link for drives and RAID controller to built suitable RAID mode.
