Trapp Technology Selects Array Networks Application Delivery Controllers To Deliver Premium User Experience And Scalability For Hosted Applications

Array Networks streamlines management of hosted customer applications to support growing customer demands

Array Networks, a global leader in application delivery ArrayNetworks_Partner Scheme (2)networking, announces today that Trapp Technology has selected Array’s APV series application delivery controllers (ADCs) for high service performance and availability for hosted business applications and to deliver a premium user experience.

Trapp Technology targets medium-to-enterprise-level businesses that outsource IT infrastructure and application management to help reduce total cost of ownership and IT management requirements. A key focus area for Trapp Technology is application hosting for diverse sets of applications in the cloud, including custom application hosting, as well as hosted virtual desktop solutions for everything from construction and real estate (CRE) software to accounting and tax preparation.

Customer demand is growing for these services as an affordable alternative to high cost, skilled-labor requirements and challenges associated with companies buying, installing and maintaining their own software in-house. Trapp needed a solution to help ensure a scalable, adaptable network platform to accommodate support for changing requirements and rapid growth in new applications and users.

The Array APV Series proved to be the ideal solution for Trapp Technology to address these challenges in application and cloud service delivery. The ADCs also provide guaranteed performance and scalability to bridge the gap between network planning and support for bringing on multiple customers, apps or communities as their customer base grows.

Adding the APV Series load balancers to their cloud data center has helped position Trapp Technology for the future of the changing enterprise environment. “Hosting is a major part of our business, and it’s constantly evolving,” said Mr Josh Weidman, Vice President of Technology for Trapp Technology. “As we create new ventures, the APV Series will help us maintain the premium user experience that we’ve become known for.”

Using the APV Series load balancers, Trapp Technology can scale its resources as the business grows. Once a new server is deployed and spun up, it is simply and quickly added to the load balancing queue. Likewise, if a server requires maintenance it can be removed from the queue, then added back when ready.

Based on the success of the APV Series, Trapp Technology also implemented Array’s AG Series secure access gateways (SSL VPNs) through Trapp’s Professional IT team, which works directly with businesses to support their on-premise technology solutions.

“Array Networks is committed to ensuring our application delivery networking solutions can easily integrate into our customers’ networks and can ensure access to their information and applications,” said Mr Paul Andersen, Director of Marketing at Array Networks. “We are excited to collaborate with Trapp Technology and deliver a top-notch user experience for its customers.”
