This Samsung smartphone gets a price cut of Rs 1,000 in India

Samsung’s budget smartphone J7 Nxt has got a price cut in India. Launched last year, both variants of the smartphone – 16GB and 32GB has received a price drop, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom.

The 32GB version which was launched at Rs 12,999 has got a price drop of Rs 1,009 and is now available at Rs 11,990. On the other hand, the 16GB variant a received a price cut of Rs 500 and is now selling at Rs 9,990. This is the second time that the 16GB version has got a price drop as the company slashed the price of the device by Rs 1,000 in December last year.
For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt comes in Black and Gold colour options and can be purchased across retail and online stores in the country. The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, the handset is powered by company’s own 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. The device offers 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. Users can add more space to the device by installing a micro SD card.

The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and boasts of a 13MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED flash. The front of the device houses a 5MP selfie camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. Measuring 152.4 x 78.6 x 7.6, the smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Recently, Flipkart has announced that Samsung Carnival days which kick started today and will go in till February 9. As part of the sale, the e-tailer is offering discounts on Samsung smartphones, tablets, televisions, accessories, wearables and home appliances.
