The Moto G Has Received A Price Cut Of Rs 2,000 Bringing Down

MotoG_ITVoiceIn lieu of companies like Asus and Xiaomi giving buyers a better specification choice at moderately more aggressive prices, Motorola has now slashed the prices of its much popular Moto G smartphone in the Indian market. The Moto G has received a price cut of Rs 2,000 bringing down its price to Rs 10,499 (8GB) and Rs 11,999 (16GB) respectively.

Motorola’s move can clearly be seen as one that is directed towards retrieval loosing territory thanks to some tough competition coming in from the above mentioned companies. However, take note that the price cut is only a limited period offer and valid till stocks last, quotes Flipkart that is officially selling the device in India. The Moto G sports an 11.43-cm (4.5-inch) screen with a 720p resolution and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor running at 1.2GHz. The handset comes in 8GB and 16GB variants and has 1GB RAM, with a 5MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.

Very recently, Motorola started rolling out its over-the-air updates for its Moto G smartphone here in India for both its single SIM international and dual-SIM India variant. The OTA update is 169MB in size and is an incremental update from Android 4.4.2 KitKat that brings the system version to 210.12.32. This followed by a sharp price cut is surely going to attract more customers, already in awe of the device.
