The Apple TV 4K (2022) has launched in India starting from Rs. 14,900

The latest and greatest offering from Apple in the television entertainment segment has been launched in Indian without much fanfare. The 2022 version of the popular Apple TV 4K has been launched with the latest version of the tvOS 16 and sports the iPhone’s flagship A15 Bionic chipset which is seen in the latest iPhone 14 and 14 Plus as well. It is also accompanied by a Siri-powered remote for voice commands and assistant features.

Along with flagship level performance and fan favorite operating system, the Apple TV now comes with HDR10+ which supports more dynamic range content in addition to Dolby Vision support and HDR10 for the customers viewing pleasure. The WiFi only variant starts at Rs. 14,900/- and comes with 64GB of onboard storage while the higher end version supports a wired ethernet connection as well. The more expensive variant demands a premium of Rs. 2,000/- and is priced at Rs. 16,900/- on Apple’s official web-store in India.

As for streaming support, users will be able to stream content from numerous OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar and Youtube. Additionally, they also provide access to Apple Arcade so that users can lay games on the new Apple TV 4K. Users also have the option to purchase the Apple Care+ subscription for protection of their new Apple TV device and receive a 3-month free subscription to Apple TV+, which is their streaming platform for just Rs. 2,900/-. The 2022 Apple TV 4k also comes with support for Ultra-HD streaming support for the major OTT platforms.
