Tecno’s recently launched Phantom X2 5G could be priced lower than global market, in India

The latest Phantom X2 5G flagship from Tecno features a distinct unibody design and a centred camera island. The phone definitely stands out from the other smartphones in the crowd, and it even has some great specs. The gadget would arrive in India in January of the following year after being initially unveiled in Dubai. The price of the Phantom X2 has now been revealed online ahead of its official release.

According to Paras Guglani, the Tecno Phantom X2 5G would be offered at a special discounted price in the Indian market. With bank discounts, interested shoppers might purchase the smartphone for as little as Rs 26,999. For reference, the device costs SAR 2,699 ($718/Rs. 59,522) in Saudi Arabia.

The cost will probably be for the Tecno Phantom X2 with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device is available in Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey. Pre-orders for it will start on January 2 in India, and it will go on sale on Amazon on January 9.

In terms of specifications, the Techno phone has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. A MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC powers it.

A triple camera unit with a 64MP main camera sensor is available for photography. A 2MP macro sensor and a 13MP ultrawide sensor are added to the main camera. The phone has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. A 5160mAh battery within the phone supports 45W rapid charging. HiOS 12.0, based on Android 12, is used.
