Teasers for the Infinix Zero 30 5G are asserting its position as the first in its segment to offer 4K 60FPS video recording capability

Infinix is preparing to launch a new 5G smartphone known as the Infinix Zero 30 5G. The brand has already provided a glimpse of a green vegan leather variant for the device on its official website, and now, additional teasers have been shared on X (Twitter).

The most recent teaser reveals that the Infinix Zero 30 5G will come equipped with a curved display, along with a notable feature: the ability to record 4K videos at 60FPS. While 4K at 40FPS might not be entirely groundbreaking on its own, what sets this apart is that it would be the first instance of such an option within its specific segment.

Although the pricing details for the smartphone are currently unclear, it’s worth noting that the Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo featuring Dimensity 1080 was launched at a price of Rs 19,999 in India (for the 8GB+256GB version). Therefore, it’s possible that the Zero 30 5G could fall within a similar price range.

Based on the teasers and leaks available thus far, the Zero 30 5G is expected to sport a 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p and a curvature of 60 degrees. The rectangular camera module will include an LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization, although specific details about the camera sensors have not yet been disclosed.

A Geekbench listing has indicated that the device could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and run on an Android 13-based operating system. With the device rumored to launch this month, more details are likely to be revealed in the near future. Stay tuned for updates.
