TBDC with Arcum Global organise Start-up Visa Week

Start-up Visa Week has kickstarted from 20th September and it will go on till 24th September 2021, by Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) and Arcum Global, a Legal Management Consultancy firm specializing in residency planning and global business set ups.

‘Canada Start-up Visa Week’ (‘The Week’) is a one-on-one presentation opportunity organized for start-ups looking to launch their business in Canada. Start-ups with existing proof-of-concept and innovative solutions would be provided with an opportunity to present their business to TBDC.

Notably, ‘Canada Start-up Visa’ is a program launched by the Canadian government to provide start-up founders with an opportunity to launch their business in Canada and immigrate to Canada by starting a business and creating jobs. The Week comes in line with the government’s aim of attracting startups with the potential to grow globally through the said program.

Speaking at the event on 20th September will be Jeff Van Heumen, Ontario Centre of Innovation, on ‘The opportunities for start-up Founders in Ontario’. Also, Rajiv Arora, Global Head, IT Global Hub, Siemens will throw light on ‘Innovation & Technology’.

“We are looking forward to having one-on-one interactions with founders with creative and compelling ideas and innovative solutions which have the potential to disrupt the market.” said Esha Chopra, Director Strategy and Marketing, Toronto Business Development Centre in a media interaction.

The initiative will provide founders with an opportunity to get to know the Canadian start-up community and its growth prospects.
