The theme selected for the gala event was “Bollywood Nite” – accordingly, huge cutouts of popular cine personalities were set up all around the venue, where the stars of the night were the esteemed TAIT members and their loved ones. The cutouts proved to be an excellent backdrop for photoops and selfie moments, which were lapped up by the guests.

The infectious bonhomie at the TAIT Winter Mela brought back fond memories for many members. Umesh Ashar who has been handling guest registrations for the past several years said he was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm, going by the serpentine queues at the entrance. The highlight of the event was the Bollywood Quiz played on the large LED screen, which ended in a nail-biting finish.
The DJ dishing out one popular hit number after another resulted in high energy levels of the young and not so young. Guests danced away and rocked the dance floor, shedding all inhibitions.

Children kept the Tattoo Artist busy, while it was the ladies thronging the Nail Art counter. There were plenty of prizes for the children to win at the special game counters.

Viren Bavishi and Samir Parekh, Directors of TAIT, who oversaw the Food & Beverage arrangements, along with Pravin Dhoka and Girish Rathod, left no stone unturned to ensure that the lavish spread not only provided guests with a wide variety of cuisine options, but also left everlasting gastronomical memories to savour.
