TAIT expects over 100 Global Tech Giants at 9th edition of COM-IT Expo 2016 to be held at Mumbai

Over 20,000 technology users and buyers expected to attend the show, featuring stalls spread over nearly 25,000 square feet

MUMBAI, India – June 23, 2016

Trade Association of Information Technology (TAIT), the premier association of IT companies has announced the 9th edition of COM-IT Expo – an International Exhibition to be held from Friday, 30th September to Sunday, 2nd October 2016 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. TAIT has hosted the flagship COM-IT Expo in India’s financial capital since 2007.

The expo focuses on IT, Security & Surveillance, and Mobility. Every year the exhibition plays host to over 100 leading technology vendors, making COM-IT Expo one of the largest IT exhibitions in India. Looking at the overwhelming response every year, TAIT expects more than 100 IT players from around the world to take up over nearly 25,000 square feet at this year’s show.

Announcing the 9th edition of COM-IT Expo, Mr Champakraj Gurjar, Chairman, COM-IT said, COM-IT Expo is India’s leading exhibition organized under the umbrella of TAIT. The event is beneficial for TAIT members as it showcases end-to-end solutions and helps generate business leads. The expo is a global platform where we bring all IT hardware, software and services solution providers together and connect them to their target audience. Last year we had a footfall of more than 20,000 visitors and this year we again expect to cross that number.”

Every year COM-IT Expo is among the most awaited events where visitors turn up in large numbers to select products, identify partners and evaluate new technologies.

For the past four years, COM-IT Expo has been supported by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA); this year too TAITRA plan to have a big pavilion showcasing Taiwan IT Excellence products at the expo. Brands like D-Link, TP-Link, Digisol, Merlin, Securalive, Hikvision, Jarvise, Zebronics are among the companies who have participated and have had their products displayed at well laid out pavilions. Other major brands like Portronics, Tata, Seagate, LG, HP, Eset, Dell, Canon, Vodafone, McAfee, Konica, APC, eScan, CP Plus, Ricoh, WinTab, Sony, Tally, Kingston, Kaspersky and Swipe Technologies have also marked their presence at the COM-IT Expo in the past.

COM-IT Expo, and the accompanying conference showcase and bring into the limelight various IT Infrastructure, Web and Mobile solutions, IT security solutions and Cloud Computing solutions, driving the objective of generating sustainable growth for the IT sector. The event also showcases mobile applications and innovative software development lifecycle management techniques from software development and system integration companies.
