SUSE_Logo SUSE® today announced  sponsors, keynote and breakout  session details for its upcoming  SUSECon 2014 global technical  conference, Nov. 17-21 in  Orlando, Florida. SUSECon is an  energetic and interactive information exchange for customers, partners and open source enthusiasts.

SUSECon was created to provide a satisfying deep dive for enterprise IT users and will include keynote and technical sessions, technology showcases, and opportunities to interact with business leaders, analysts, technical experts, and other users and providers. This year’s content will highlight the latest technical advances in enterprise Linux, OpenStack cloud, Ceph storage and other open source technologies, as well as reveal the future direction of SUSE and unique industry insight. Michael Miller, SUSE vice president of global alliances and marketing, will host the event.

“There will be plenty of excellent content,” Miller said. “But the real excitement comes from getting face to face with this passionate audience, and that has motivated us to step up our game, show-wise. We’re mixing it up this year with a more entertaining format and a few surprises. And true to the SUSECon 2014 theme – Always Open – we’ll share the valuable insights and training on topics including ‘open source,’ ‘open enterprise,’ and ‘open collaboration’ that our community of attendees has come to expect.”

Keynote guests will include James Staten, vice president and principal analyst of infrastructure and operations at Forrester Research, and Nils Brauckmann, president and general manager of SUSE. There will also be plenty of interviews with customers and sponsors.

SUSECon breakout sessions will feature compelling technical content presented by SUSE engineers and product managers, SUSE customers and partners, and community enthusiasts. A full session catalog is now available. The wide range of sessions will address new and existing technologies, customer scenarios and deployments, and how-to guides for implementation of Linux and cloud technologies.
