Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z4 Tablet has been accidentally confirmed by the company.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet on Tuesday made an appearance on the official Xperia Lounge application, before being quickly pulled by Sony.
The tipped screenshot (via Xperia blog) of the Xperia Z4 Tablet appearance partially reveals the tablet design also notes the March 3 date – suggesting the launch date, and that the device will feature “ultra fast processor”, a 2K display along with a big size battery in compact design.
The screenshot image (seen left – click to enlarge) notes, “Sony’s stunning 2K display combined with latest ultra fast processor and industry leading battery performance delivers unrivalled entertainment in a lightweight premium.”
Coming to the design, whatever less we can see from the image, it seems that the Xperia Z4 Tablet is following the same design language as of the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Rest of the details are unknown at this point and we will have to wait until next Tuesday, March 3 for the same. The latest ‘ultra fast processor’ could be referring to the Snapdragon 810, which till date has only been seen in the LG G Flex2.
In other news, Sony quietly launched the 4G-enabled version of its Xperia E4 smartphone on Tuesday. Dubbed Sony Xperia E4g, the smartphone will also be available in a dual-SIM version as well.
