Sony Xperia XA Ultra With 16MP Front Camera Launched At Rs. 29,990

Sony has launched its latest smartphone – Xperia XA Sony XperiaUltra, in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 29,990, the device will be available in White, Graphite Black and Lime Gold colour options. Sony is also offering three month subscription of Sony Liv, Hungama Play and Kindle eBooks free with the smartphone.

The key highlight of the Sony Xperia XA Ultra is its 16MP front-facing autofocus camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The company is pitching the smartphone primarily as a selfie smartphone.

As the name suggests, the Sony Xperia XA Ultra is an upgrade to the Xperia XA. It features a large 6-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution, as opposed to the XA’s 5-inch HD panel. The display is further enhanced by Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2 technology. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor, clubbed with 3GB of RAM.

Besides a 16MP front-facing camera, the Xperia XA Ultra sports a 21.5MP Exmor RS autofocus rear camera. The phone comes with 16GB of in-built storage, which can be further expanded via microSD cards of up to 200GB in size.

Sony Xperia XA Ultra is backed by a 2700mAh battery, which is a bit bigger than the Xperia XA’s 2300mAh cell. For connectivity, the smartphone includes GPS, A-GPS, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, DLNA and micro-USB. Measuring in at 164.2mmx79.4mm x8.4mm, the device will be available in Black, White and Lime Gold colour options.

Recently, Sony launched two power banks in India. Both can charge multiple devices at a time and come with fast charging support.

The new power banks come in 15,00mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. Thanks to Lithium-ion polymer tech, they support pass-through charging as well. This means that the devices connected to the power bank can be charged even when the power bank itself is being charged.
