Sony Unveiles Their New Offering Called Xperia C5 Ultra

Adding to its range of Xperia series of smartphones, Xperia C5Japanese tech giant Sony has unveiled their new offering called Xperia C5 Ultra. Besides good camera, the handset is also making the headlines for featuring an almost borderless display. However, the Xperia C5 Ultra isn’t very good in terms of dust protection and water resistance.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra sports a 15.24cm (6-inch) HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with ARM Mali760 GPU, the phone offers 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which can be further expanded to 200GB via microSD. Backed by a 2930mAh battery, the device measures 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2mm and weighs 187 grams.

The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with a 13MP rear as well as front-facing cameras. Interestingly, both the cameras come with features like LED flash modules, comprising Sony’s Exmor RS sensor. It promises to give its users a unique photography experience with features such as auto scene recognition, video stabiliser, 25mm wide-angle lens (rear) with an 80-degree field of view, full-HD video recording, image stabiliser, 4x digital zoom, red-eye reduction and geo-tagging. The connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Glonass, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G LTE.
