Sony has finally given in to the selfie fever doing the rounds across the globe with two new devices. The Sony Xperia C3 and Xperia C3 Dual smartphones have been carefully designed keeping selfie lovers in mind. Both the devices will be available globally starting August with China being the first to witness the release. There is however no news yet regarding the pricing of the devices.
Both the Xperia C3 and Xperia C3 Dual smartphones have more or less similar specifications, with the main distinction being that the latter is a dual-SIM device. Both the devices feature a 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) HD Triluminos display along with Bravia Engine 2 and a 720×1280 pixels resolution. They are powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Both the devices run Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. They come with 8GB of in-built storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include: 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and USB charging. Both of them deck in a 2500mAh battery.
The new devices sport an 8MP autofocus rear camera accompanied with LED flash. Further, they boast of a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash and a wide-angle view to help capture a group selfie. The cameras come with features like Superior Auto, Portrait Retouch v.2, Timeshift-burst, Picture effects, Movie Creator, Social Live, Sweep Panorama among others.
