Sony launches new In-car audio system with Android Auto & CarPlay support

56599566Sony has announced its XAV- AX100 In-car audio system for car receivers and players. Priced at Rs 26,990, the device is available in Black colour option. The Sony XAV-AX100 claims to have the best smartphone connectivity features, along with an intuitive user interface. The In-car audio system has intelligent voice and touch-based controls. It’s also equipped with Sony’s Extra Bass feature, which is claimed to transform any vehicle into an elaborate sound system. The device features Android Auto support and is compatible with Apple CarPlay as well. This means users can access Apple Music, make phone calls, send messages and more, via touchscreen or through Siri.Sony XAV- AX100 is supported by 55Wx4 Dynamic Reality Amp 2 and Extra Bass low-boost circuitry. It comes with rear USB and camera input for easy parking as well. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity and external mic support.
The company recently launched its MHC-V77D portable sound system. Priced at Rs 45,990, the MHC-V77D has an audio output of 1440W and comes with a touch panel. There is gesture support for controlling music playback and volume levels.
The MHC-V77D has LDAC functionality that enables transmission of high-quality audio over Bluetooth connections. The speakers are equipped with Sony’s DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) technology, which upscales any compressed music content and delivers rich studio quality audio experience.
MHC-V77D has Google Cast functionality built in, allowing users to directly stream music.
