Sony Announces 4K HDR TV Range, Starting Rs. 1,94,900

Sony today introduced its 2016 range of Bravia 4K HDR Sony (2)Android TVs – X9350D, X9300D and X8500D in India. The TVs are available in screen sizes of 55-inch and 65-inch.

TVs in the Bravia X9300D and X8500D range are priced between Rs 1,94,900 and Rs 3,64,900. As for the X9350D, Sony will announce the prices in June.

The new TVs feature an upgraded voice search function that enables users to search their channels/TV content without typing or remembering them. The new content bar allows customers to explore other TV contents, internet videos (via YouTube ) or Netflix , without disturbing their ongoing TV broadcast.

There is a Netflix button on the remote controller which offers quick app launch, as well as easy navigation and switching between apps and inputs.

Bravia X9350D series is Sony’s flagship line-up in the 4K HDR series. It is powered by the 4K X1 processor and comes with 4K X-Reality PRO, Triluminos Display & X-tended Dynamic Range features. The series also comes with the new carbon fiber speaker.

On the other hand, Bravia X8500D is Sony’s entry level 4K HDR range made of aluminum framed panels. It offers a 4K processor X1, along with 4K X-Reality PRO & Triluminos Display features. The sound is enhanced with ClearAudio+ along with Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) technology.
