Senrysa Technologies, one of the leading ICT solution companies focused on large Financial Inclusion projects, today announced that it has opened around 5 lakh bank accounts under the Prime Minister’s ‘Jan Dhan Yojana’ in a span of just 20 days after the Prime Minister declared his plans of ‘Digital India’ in his Independence Day speech on 15th August.

unnamed (15) Senrysa Technologies  conducted a program      under Jan Dhan Yojana to  accelerate the ambitious  scheme of opening frill  free bank accounts across  rural India. Banks like  United Bank of India  RRB’s, IDBI etc. collaborated in the united mission. The challenge was to facilitate banking to the remotest places across Eastern and North-eastern parts of India. Senrysa achieved this feat by having widespread Business Correspondent (BC) activities with more than 2000 Bank Mitras.

Mr Kumar Saha, CEO & Managing Director of Senrysa Technologies said, “In the run to provide universal access of banking facilities, we intend to make full use of the BC model to contribute to the goal of the country. Senrysa Bank Mitra already made significant contribution to the Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana.”

In a BC model, the business correspondents provide doorstep banking services to the last mile people in remote unbanked areas with the help of hand held devices connected to banking system wirelessly on real time basis.
