Schneider Presents Android Smart Meter App In Response

Schneider Electric announced that its Home Control System has been launched to Android users. Home Control System allow users to switch off lights, heating, and other electric devices remotely.

Wiser Home Control is already available on Apple iOS and also has undergone a number of other upgrades, including a new plug-and-play installation process and an HDMI port that allows users to control settings from a larger TV screen. The company estimates that Wiser Home Control users can save up to 30 per cent off their energy bills by avoiding energy wastage using the app.

According to the reports, Asad Zaidi, electric engineer, Light and Room Controls, Schneider Electric mentioned that these changes aims at developing a strong future for smart controls which will give a boost to a booming market for smarter building controls.

“Homeowners can look forward to a more consistent experience, as upgrades are easily executed and the control system can be accessed from a greater range of mobile devices,” Zaidi said.
