Schneider Electric Sets New Standard In Datacenter Cooling

Honoured with ACREX Award of Excellence at the ACREX India 2015

SchneiderElectric_Logo_itvoiceSchneider Electric, a global leader in energy management, was awarded the winner in the Product Innovation category for the Uniflair Precision Air Conditioner – Leonardo HDCV 5000, at the recently concluded ACREX India 2015 in Bengaluru.

The 15th edition of ACREX, an International Exhibition on Air Conditioning, Refrigeration & Building Services was held from 26th February to 28th February, 2015 in Bengaluru and was organised by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) and NürnbergMesse India Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking more on the achievement, Mr. Nikhil Pathak, Vice President and Country General Manager – India & SAARC – IT Business – Schneider Electric India said, “We at Schneider always believe in developing innovative products which conform to the industry standards. The growing demand for reducing year round energy consumption combined with demands to utilize the maximum available space has resulted into reduction of the capital and operating expenses for small to large data centres. Cooling equipments consume almost 40% of total energy consumption for a typical IT application. Hence, there is always a major focus on the reducing this energy by adopting various methodology. Receiving the award at ACREX 2015 in the Product Innovation Category, is a big moment for us and it motivates us to be more innovative with products that can actually help in reducing the carbon footprints.

Currently in the market, Uniflair range of Precisions ACs are the highest capacity available unit having max 70TR (245kW) cooling capacity within a very compact frame size of 3110 x 865 x 1960mm (L x B x H). Total cooling capacity range for HDCV is 20kW to 245kW.
