Samsung Unveils Chromebook 3

Samsung has expanded its range of Chrome OS powered laptops by unveiling the Chromebook 3 at CES 2016.

The Chromebook sports a 11.6-inch screen HD display Samsung_Chormebookwith a screen resolution of 1366x768p and is powered by an Intel Celeron N3050. It comes with 2GB RAM or 4GB RAM option and 16GB of inbuilt storage. It packs Intel HD Graphics and a webcam capable to record HD video.

Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet, HDMI port, SD Card Reader, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0 port.

The Chromebook delivers a battery backup up to 11 hours, according to the company. Weighing 1.13Kgs, the Chromebook has 2 stereo speakers with 1.5W output each.

Commenting on the launch, senior vice president, Mobile Computing at Samsung Electronics America, Gary Riding, said “We’re seeing more and more people flocking to Chromebooks as families, students and other consumers seek out easy-to-use, highly portable and affordable laptops as resources for personal use, education and even work.”
