Did you really like the Nexus 10 tablet but wished it came with Samsung branding and TouchWiz interface? Well, your wish may be very close to being granted after fresh rumours have popped up that claim that Samsung is working on a new tablet with a 10.1-inch display with a pixel density of 299 ppi. This is the exact same screen specs found on the Nexus 10 tablet that was also manufactured by Samsung.

Like the Nexus 10, the Samsung Roma’s 10.1 inch display will also have a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and will be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5 processor, 2GB of RAM and a 9,000 mAh battery. The Roma is rumoured to have dimensions of 257×177.7×8.4 mm and weight of about 583 grams. Imaging is expected to be handled by a 5 MP primary camera and a 1.9 MP front-facing camera. The Roma is claimed to offer 16GB of internal storage and, unlike the Nexus 10, may support microSD cards up to 128GB for additional storage space. The Roma is also expected to launch with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed the existence of the Roma.
