Samsung Launches F8000 Smart TV In India

Samsung-Smart-TVSamsung has recently unveiled its new F8000 Smart TV that promises more vibrant and richer colors, higher contrasts and a brighter picture quality than ever before. Incorporating a minimalist-yet-futuristic design, the F8000 has a trim bezel width of 0.2 inches with a crescent-shaped “Arc Stand” that is completely unique. The Arc stand curves around the back of the screen, with only two little “feet” showing in the front which makes it appear to float. The F8000 is also among Samsung’s first line of Smart TVs equipped with Intelligent Viewing and a quad-core processor making it even easier and faster for consumers to toggle between apps, online services and on-air TV without compromising on picture quality. Samsung’s proprietary Micro Dimming Ultimate technology delivers greater contrast, deeper black levels and maximum brightness of 3D image.

Also, the F8000 makes it easier for you to navigate and control your TV through advanced Smart Interaction that responds to your gesture and voice in a more intuitive way. Users can now rotate images, or simply zoom in and out with two hands. And through enhanced Voice control capabilities, the Samsung Smart TV is now able to understand more than 300 commands with much better language recognition rates. In addition, a new Smart Touch Control has all its number keys replaced by a touch pad, on which users can simply write the channel number they want or flip and scroll the screen.

The F8000 provides consumers with a simpler way to embrace the discovery of new content and experiences with a completely redesigned Smart Hub. The Smart Hub makes it easy to organize and navigate personalized content through the three newly designed panels – Apps; Photos, Videos & Music; and Social. Combined with Samsung’s enhanced Motion Control, users can swipe, pinch to zoom, or use a flip motion to easily move between Smart Hub panels. Consumers can also use their smartphones and tablets as a remote control or a second screen. With the phone and the F8000 connected to the same Wireless access point, users could mirror content from their Smart TV on to a smartphone or a tablet and view the same channel on either screens or watch two different programs using the twin tuners. Ideal if you want to watch the cricket, while others enjoy a drama.

With the F8000, consumer can also get an additional advantage of keeping the Smart TV up-to-date, without buying a new television. The F8000 is equipped with a slot for the Evolution Kit chipset that upgrades the key software components of the TV to make sure you can experience the most cutting-edge entertainment experience year-on-year. The F8000 has all the connections you’d want, including four HDMI inputs, component and composite video via adaptors, twin satellite and Freeview HD inputs, digital optical and 3.5mm audio outputs, three USB ports, an Ethernet port, integrated Wi-Fi and a Common Interface slot. There’s also an IR blaster output. Available in 46”, 55” and 65” class screen sizes, the F8000 is priced between Rs. 37,900/- to Rs. 367,500/-.
