Samsung Launched Three Affordable Smartphones

Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of three new smartphones – Samsung Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT in India. With the launch of these new devices, Samsung has expanded its sub-10k category to seven devices.

Samsung Galaxy Star 2 is priced at INR 5,100 and is available in White and Grey colours. Both Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT are priced at INR 7,400 respectively and are available in Black and White colors.

Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance, and Galaxy Ace NXT support 12 Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Guajarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, and Assamese, enabling consumers to take advantage of a wide range of applications and exciting content in the language of their choice.

Samsung has introduced the new devices with an attractive offer of free internet from Vodafone for the first six months. This data offer of up to 200 MB per month will eliminate the initial data cost incurred to the user, giving consumers the liberty to experience internet at no additional cost through Samsung smartphones.

The new smartphones are powered by the latest Android Kit Kat and Samsung’s proprietary Touch Wiz user interface, the devices are optimized for superior performance and multi-tasking. Samsung Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance, and Galaxy Ace NXT come with a new hardware platform which sports a “One Touch Multi-Tasking” hardware button, enabling consumers to quickly toggle between various apps & get a seamless experience.

Galaxy Star 2 and Galaxy Star Advance sport a premium leather finish back. Samsung has also caught on to the increasing need of consumers to capture images in low light conditions, particularly amongst the youth, by providing an LED flash with Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT.

The consumer has a choice of not only accessing these language apps from Google Play Store but also Samsung’s home-grown Samsung Galaxy Apps store. Apps in 12 languages are available across various genres ranging from utility, devotion, productivity to horoscope.
