Samsung Inaugurates New Lifestyle Experience Store at Jio World Plaza, Mumbai

Samsung has opened its first Online-to-Offline (O2O) lifestyle store, Samsung BKC, in India at Jio World Plaza mall, part of the new ultra-luxury precinct in Mumbai. Covering 8,000 square feet, the store is strategically located in Mumbai’s central business hub, the Bandra Kurla Complex. Samsung BKC will feature Samsung’s top-of-the-line premium products, including smartphones, televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines, leveraging the power of Samsung’s AI ecosystem. The store will provide unique curated experiences and real-life scenarios to showcase the company’s widest premium portfolio. As the first Samsung O2O store in India, Samsung BKC aims to reimagine the retail shopping experience by integrating the best of both online and offline worlds.

The store will offer Samsung’s latest AI experiences, including ‘AI for All’ for consumer electronics products and ‘Galaxy AI’ for mobile devices, all under one roof. Customers can enjoy the convenience of online shopping with over 1,200 choices from an online digital catalogue, assisted by in-store staff. Products can be delivered not only in Mumbai but anywhere in the country. Additionally, customers in Mumbai have the option to buy online from Samsung.com/in and pick up their products from Samsung BKC within two hours.

Samsung BKC is divided into eight unique lifestyle zones that showcase how Samsung products, individually and as part of Samsung’s connected multi-device ecosystem (SmartThings), can offer convenience in various aspects of life. These zones cater to different passion points, ranging from gaming and entertainment to art and yoga to cooking and laundry management. Some of the highlighted zones include Hobby Room, Home Office, Home Atelier, Home Café, Connected Kitchen, Intelligent Closet, Private Cinema, and Mobile Zone.

In the Hobby Room, customers can enjoy an immersive gaming experience on an 85-inch 8K QLED TV, showcasing Samsung’s professional range of gaming monitors and laptops. The Home Office zone features a cutting-edge home office setup using big screens and smart monitors, demonstrating scenarios like ‘distraction-free work from home’ and ‘big screen conference call.’ The Home Atelier zone transforms the home into an art gallery or yoga studio, showcasing premium televisions, including 8K TVs and The Frame, along with an AI-enabled Smart Yoga mat.

The Connected Kitchen zone features a professional chef operating the kitchen in real-time, with an AI-enabled refrigerator offering recipe recommendations and shopping lists. The Intelligent Closet zone showcases AI-enabled washing machines and dryers, along with home energy management insights. The Private Cinema zone demonstrates the connected device experience, with a 110-inch MicroLED TV and SmartThings app control. The Mobile Zone showcases Samsung’s flagship Galaxy devices, including the latest Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung BKC will also host events and workshops around consumer passion points, such as digital art, photography, videography, fitness, baking, cooking, and music, as part of its Learn @ Samsung programme. This programme will run throughout the year, featuring influencers, content creators, and experts who will help customers learn more about Samsung products and its connected devices ecosystem.

For customization, the store offers unique personalization and customization options for mobile and consumer electronics products. Customers can customize smartphone covers at the Creator’s Workshop, accessorize their purchases with initials and crystals on phone covers, and add fun charms to their Galaxy Watches. In the Home Café zone, customers can customize the door color of their bespoke refrigerators.

The store features an integrated service center where customers can take online and offline appointments, request pickup for device service, and receive same-day repair for Galaxy devices and remote assistance. Samsung BKC will offer special benefits for corporate customers and assured gifts for customers purchasing select Samsung products.
