Samsung Has Launched The Galaxy Note 4 At Its Pre-IFA 2014 Event

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 4 at its pre-IFA 2014 event, Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2. Another unique smartphone with a side display, called Galaxy Note Edge has also been launched by the  company.download (30)The new Note 4 has  a new S pen stylus as well as  the new Smart Select feature.  New inscription and signing  pen writing options are also  introduced in this device.  The new Galaxy Note 4 runs  on Android 4.4 KitKat  version and sports a 14.49-    cm (5.7-inch) Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixel) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 515ppi. There are two variants of this device, 4G LTE and 4G LTE Cat.6 (LTE Advanced).

Both the variants feature 3GB RAM, 16MP autofocus rear camera with Smart OIS, 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera with a f/1.9 lens and 32GB in-built storage expandable up to 64GB. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac, GPS/ Glonass, NFC, Bluetooth v 4., IR LED, USB 2.0, and MHL 3.0. A Multi-Window feature is also available from the Recent button and the device will be available in Charcoal Black, Frost White, Bronze Gold, and Blossom Pink from October.

Galaxy Note Edge has flexible-display technology and it has a side display so that information on weather and time can be seen from side too when the phone is laid on a table. With this side-display feature the phone’s camera acts like a stand-alone, point-and-shoot camera. It provides one-tap access to multiple apps. Samsung has not detailed about its pricing or release date. Talking about its usual specs, the device features 14.22-cm (5.6-inch) Quad-HD+ (1440+160×2560 pixel) Super AMOLED display and a quad-core 2.7GHz processor. Note Edge will also be available in 4G LTE and 4G LTE Cat. 6 (LTE Advanced) variants. Rest of the specifications of the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge are almost identical.
