Samsung’s much-anticipated flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6, will be showcased at CES 2015 this week, but only to select partners and not consumers, claims a report.

Citing reliable sources, a report from Sammobile on Sunday claims that Samsung will showcase the anticipated flagship Galaxy S6 and a variant sometime during CES 2015to select partners. Though there is no particular information about the Galaxy S6 variant, the report speculates it may be the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Reports have so far suggested various design aesthetics and specifications of theSamsung’s next, which is also said to be codenamed as Project Zero – a name that is supposed to indicate the company has built the smartphone from scratch.

The latest report claiming credible information on the Galaxy S6 is by French website Nowhereelse, which has published few purported live images of the upcoming Galaxy S6’s back casing.

The report claims that the images are of the metal-casing produced for the South Korean giant, but it’s unclear whether they are meant for Galaxy S6 or its anticipated-variant. The alleged casing is seen to include two big cut-outs on both ends (see above), which may house a camera, loudspeaker and more. The edges appear to be similar to the metal-chassis on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4
