Samsung has officially announced that its upcoming Galaxy S25 series will introduce Hindi language support for Google’s Gemini AI, making the AI assistant more accessible for Indian users. With this update, Hindi joins Korean and English as the initial languages available for Gemini Live, emphasizing Samsung’s focus on the Indian market. TM Roh, President and Head of MX Business at Samsung Electronics, confirmed that additional language support would be introduced in future updates.
With Gemini AI integration, users can perform tasks like searching for images in Samsung Gallery, adjusting display settings, and setting reminders in Samsung Calendar using natural language commands. The AI assistant can be activated by pressing and holding the side button, allowing seamless interaction across Samsung and Google apps. Additionally, third-party apps like Spotify will also benefit from Gemini AI’s functionality.
Samsung is also advancing its Hybrid AI technology, which blends on-device and cloud-based AI to enhance performance and efficiency. This approach ensures that sensitive data remains secure while maximizing AI-powered capabilities.
Meanwhile, pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series in India have begun, with pricing starting at ₹80,999 and going up to ₹1.65 lakh for the high-end Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung is offering exclusive benefits worth ₹21,000 for customers pre-ordering the Ultra model.
