Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime to launch

Three weeks, three smartphones: it’ clear Samsung means business in 2018. With a third smartphone launch slated for the third week of January, Samsung is wasting little time to steal a march on the competition.
The smartphone is already confirmed to be available exclusively on Amazon. The Amazon webpage reveals some of the main features of the soon-to-be launched device. According to Amazon, the handset will come in two variants on the basis of storage — 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Both handsets will have microSD card support of up to 256GB. Also, the Amazon listing says that the handset will have a 13MP camera modules at both front and back with f/1.9 aperture each.
Amazon is also exclusively selling Samsung’s mid-range smartphone Galaxy A8+ (2018). The main highlight of the smartphone is its dual front camera setup, making it the company’s first handset to boast of this feature. It sports a 16MP primary camera and 8MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture each. The handset costs Rs 32,990 and gives direct competition to OnePlus 5T, Nokia 8, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. On the back, the Samsung Galaxy A8+ has a 16MP camera with f1.7 aperture. The camera app of the device comes with built-in stickers and beauty effects.
Samsung’s first smartphone launch of the year, however, was a 16GB variant of the Galaxy On Nxt. This device was launched as a part of 2018 Mobile Bonanza offer held on Flipkart in first week of January. Priced at Rs 10,999, this Galaxy On Nxt is essentially the same phone as the one launched in October, which has 32GB storage.
