Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy J7 Nxt get a price cut in India

Samsung has reduced price of two of its mid-range smartphones in india. According to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J7 Nxt have got a price cut.
This is second price drop for Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone. Launched at Rs 18,790, the smartphone got a price cut of Rs 3,890 in October this year. In the latest price cut announced, Galaxy J7 Prime has become cheaper by another Rs 1,000. The smartphone is now selling at Rs 13,900. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt is available at Rs 10,490 after the price cut of Rs 1,000.
For those unaware, the company launched Samsung Galaxy J7 Nxt in July this year. Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and is powered by an octa-core Exynos processor.
It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The device has a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. It offers all the essential connectivity options and is backed by a 3,000 mAh.
On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow the dual SIM device offers 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by inserting a microSD card.
The smartphone comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and houses a 13MP rear camera with LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front camera for selfies. It is backed by 3,300mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options.
