Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) gets listed on official website

South Korean tech giant Samsung has listed its Galaxy J2 (2017) smartphone on its official website. The listing, however, doesn’t include any information about the price and availability of the handset.
According to the listing, the handset comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 540x960p (qHD) resolution. It comes in Gold and Black colour options with a uniform colour scheme and textured back.
It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage of which 4.3GB is available to users. It has a microSD card support of up to 128GB. In terms of camera, the Galaxy J2 (2017) sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing shooter.
The device is backed by a 2000mAh removable battery that Samsung claims lasts up to 9 hours on LTE.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) smartphone measures 136.5 x 69.0 x 8.4mm and weighs 130g. In terms of connecitivity, the dual-sim smartphone offers 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 and USB 2.0.
Earlier this week, Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab A (2017) tablet in India. Priced at Rs 17,990, the tablet will be available on major e-retailers as well as offline stores.
The Galaxy Tab A comes in a metal-clad design with smooth edges and sports an 8-inch display with 1280x800p resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor of unknown company. The device runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and has a single-SIM functionality. For storage, the device offers 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (of which 9.7GB is available). Users can also install microSD cards of up to 256GB.
In terms of camera, the device offers 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Running Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box, it offers 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as major connectivity options.
It measures 212.1mm x 124.1mm x 8.9mm and weighs 364 grams. The device has a physical home button on the front and menu buttons are just below the display.
