Samsung Galaxy Alpha Price Cut In India,Abailable @ Rs. 26,990

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is metal-bodied smartphone, which was launched at Samsung Galaxy AlphaRs 39,990 in September last year, has just got a price cut and is now available at Rs 26,990. The deal is available with online retailer Snapdeal.com. However, at Flipkart.com, Samsung Galaxy Alpha is available at Rs 31,800. Samsung’s official e-store is selling the smartphone at Rs 38,900.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha is the first metal-bodied smartphone from the house of the Korean smartphone maker. It comes with a compact body and curved corners. The company has fitted the smartphone with tactile soft back cover and it is the slimmest Galaxy device with just 6.7mm thickness. It weighs 115 gram.

On the technical specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha packs an 11.9-cm (4.7-inch) HD Super AMOLED (720x1280p) display and runs on Samsung’s Exynos octa core processor featuring 1.8GHz quad-core and 1.3GHz quad-core processors. The smartphone offers 2GB RAM and features 32GB internal memory. However, it doesn’t have a microSD card slot to expand the memory further.

The Samsung smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with some special features like the Samsung Ultra-Power Saving mode, S Health application, finger print scanner, heart rate sensor and private mode. The smartphone offers support for wearables like Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Live and Gear 2. On the camera front, it packs a 12MP rear shooter, that supports 4K video recording and a 2.1MP front facing camera.

The connectivity options of the smartphone include support for WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. It is powered by an 1860mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is available in charcoal black, dazzling white, frosted gold, sleek silver, and scuba blue colour variants.
