Prateek: Please take us through the journey of SalesPanda.
Samit Arora: The idea of SalesPanda was laid in mid-2015 with the aim to help people “Sell More” digitally. It started as a marketing automation platform for channel-driven companies helping them extend their market reach via partner networks. The first client was in the telecom industry in mid-2016 and gradually by 2017, we entered the BFSI market with a leading Asset Management Company. Further, we onboarded multiple insurance companies in both life and general insurance with more than 50,000 registered users on the platform. Our vision for the platform is to help enterprises enable and accelerate their sales processes the Extended Enterprise (channel partners, co-sellers/ resellers across business units, branches, field sales)
Prateek: How does a dedicated chatbot landing page create better opportunities?
Samit Arora: Our platform provides an individual microsite to each user that comes with landing pages and a chatbot. The landing pages and chatbot help generate leads by capturing information of the visitors on the microsite when inquiring about a product or service.
Prateek: Do you think that email campaigns are losing relevance in today’s world? How can SalesPanda help in developing attractive email campaigns?
Samit Arora: No, in fact, it’s one of the most personalized and targeted ways to engage/nurture potential customers. In recent years, businesses, as well as customers, prefer communicating via email more than other communication channels.
Our platform empowers agents and sellers to execute email campaigns provided by principal organizations. These email campaigns can also be pushed centrally by principal organizations on behalf of their partners.
Prateek: What dominating trends will be seen in the digital marketing niche in the coming years?
Samit Arora: In the coming years, a data-driven marketing approach will be valued along with AI, conversational marketing, more personalization, chatbots, etc.
Prateek: The usage of smartphones is limitless. How important it is for SMEs to have a Mobile App to connect with the customers?
Samit Arora: Very important, with decreasing attention span, smartphones are one of the most convenient devices to access information anytime, anywhere. Through a mobile app, anyone can access different platforms like Social media, WhatsApp, email, etc. to either consume information or share it with others.

Samit Arora: The team is a combination of leading industry veterans from the insurance and technology sector combined with the enthusiasm of our young teammates. The founder’s experience of over two decades in the sales and marketing domain with esteemed organizations like IBM, TCS, PwC, and Eicher has helped the organization grow over time. Under the guidance of these leading industry experts, the organization currently works with some of the reputed insurance, mutual fund, and technology clients in India and abroad, helping them digitize their sales and marketing efforts.
