Salesforce announces AI Cloud powered by generative AI to offer better solutions to enterprise

Salesforce, a leading customer relationship management (CRM) platform, has introduced AI Cloud, a suite of capabilities aimed at transforming customer experiences and increasing company productivity through generative AI for enterprise applications. The AI Cloud addresses concerns related to the adoption of generative AI by offering a secure and compliant environment for leveraging its benefits.

To build trust in generative AI, Salesforce has developed the Einstein GPT Trust Layer as part of AI Cloud. This solution ensures that large-language models (LLMs) don’t retain sensitive customer data, allowing organizations to maintain data governance controls while taking advantage of generative AI. The Einstein GPT Trust Layer sets a new industry standard for secure generative AI in the enterprise.

At the core of AI Cloud is Einstein, the world’s first AI for CRM, which currently powers over 1 trillion predictions weekly across Salesforce applications. By harnessing generative AI, Einstein enhances productivity and efficiency across sales, service, marketing, and commerce functions. Sales representatives can generate personalized emails, service teams can automate chat replies and case summaries, marketers can create engaging content, and commerce teams can deliver customized commerce experiences. Developers can also benefit from AI Cloud by generating code, predicting bugs, and suggesting fixes.

AI Cloud integrates various Salesforce technologies, including Einstein, Data Cloud, Tableau, Flow, and MuleSoft, to offer trusted and open generative AI for enterprise use. The Einstein GPT Trust Layer allows companies to quickly adopt generative AI by optimizing models for each task while ensuring data privacy, security, residency, and compliance goals.
