Sagoon Closes Rs 3crore Seed Round

downloadSagoon Inc. a Washington DC-New Delhi based tech startup, today announced that it has closed INR 3,00,00,000 (3 crore) seed funding lead by several Angels’ Investors.

The funds will used for product development, engineering and team expansion in India to support future web and mobile applications.

Earlier in February, Sagoon introduced ‘Social Smart Card’ and ‘ME Page’ as trial version, to become a part of company’s vision for Web 3.0
The Social Smart Card is a one-stop-shop digital card solution uniquely designed for users, customized to enhance their online shopping, buying and gifting experience.

The ME Page brings to life your personal and professional outlook. It personalizes all the content, tailor-made to fit users’ taste in an exclusive, accessible way. ME Page is also a professional overview of your achievements and a personal impression of your social life.

As of now, Sagoon has more than 146,000 registered users, and growing 20% every week! Approximately, 15 lakh users are in the waiting list, all ready to sign up. About 48,000 ME Pages have been created and more than 5, 00,000 text messages and photos have been shared since this inspiring new feature has been announced.

In July 2014, Sagoon launched a suite of applications in beta that included the ‘Secret’ and ‘Occasion’. These applications allow users to tell their story in pictures, reveal secrets and share personal moments.
