RHA To Unveil Three New Products At IFA 2016

RHA (Reid Heath Acoustics), a specialist British manufacturer of headphones, is all geared up to unveil a fresh line-up of products at Rhathe upcoming IFA 2016. These include two in-ear headphones and a DAC /headphone amplifier.

It’s worth noting that the company has exclusively partnered with Indian distributor Ferrari Video and its retail brand Headphone Zone, for selling the products in India.

While both the headphones and the DAC/amplifier will be showcased at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany from September 2-7, they’ll go on sale in October 2016.

Talking about the in-ear headphones, the first one of them is the CL1 Ceramic. Optimized for use with amplifiers, the CL1 Ceramic is a pair of in-ear headphones that combines two unique transducer technologies to exert higher levels of control over an extended frequency range. It features the CL Dynamic transducer that has been engineered for bass and midrange accuracy, while the ceramic plate driver is claimed to generate precise upper frequency and harmonic tones.

The CL1 also features RHA’s first high-density ceramic housings and a detachable cable system with mouldable over-ear hooks, affording high levels of both durability and comfort. It’ll be launched in India at a price of Rs 39,990.

As for the second pair of in-ear headphones, it’s the CL750. The CL750 uses RHA’s ultra-wideband CL Dynamic transducer for clear sound reproduction up to 45kHz.
Β The design of the CL750 is inspired from the company’s MA750 in-ear headphones. It features stainless steel housings, in addition to a new braided OFC cable. With an impedance of 150 ohms, the CL750 is optimized for use with amplifiers. The CL750 will go on sale in India at a price of Rs 11,990.

Coming to the DAC/headphone amplifier, it’s the company’s first product of its kind. Bearing the moniker Dacamp L1, it’s a fully balanced headphone amplifier and DAC (Digital to Analogue converter) with dedicated channel processors. It uses an ES9018K2M DAC chip and class AB amplifier for each stereo channel. This configuration likely enables processing of the highest quality digital audio files from mobile and desktop audio sources. The Dacamp L1 transmits high-resolution analogue audio signals to a wide range of headphones through balanced or unbalanced outputs. The amplifier will carry a price tag of Rs 44,990, when it launches in India.
