Reliance JioFibre Preview offer launches in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and four other cities

Reliance Jio has started rolling out its Fibre Preview offer in several cities across the country including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara. The company confirmed the plans via replying to a tweet on its official Twitter handle @Jio Care.
“The Jio Fiber Preview Offer has currently being launched in select areas of Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara. Our network is in the process of being rolled out to other cities,” said the company’s Jio Care handle on Twitter. It has also been mentioned that the service is being rolled out in a phased manner.
Jio FIber will offer at least 100 mbps (megabits per second) data speed. According to a report in India Today Tech earlier this week, the company is planning to offer the service free for the first three months.
According to another report, Jio home broadband or Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) Internet pricing is expected to start at Rs 500 for 600GB data and for Rs 2,000 for 1000 GB data per month.
Last month, a news report in Teleanalysis website also claimed that Reliance Jio is also planning to bring other services such as smart calling feature. “For example, it will be having a smart calling feature. What it will offer is all the phones in your home will get virtually connected. Means, if you got a call on the landline, you can receive it on your mobile and vice versa,” says the report quoting a source.
Jio is also reportedly planning to launch a complete suite for home surveillance, which will comprise smart camera, smart doorbell, smart lock and chime alarm. All of these products can be managed from user’s mobile devices.
