Reliance Jio has officially launched JioPC, its new cloud-based virtual desktop platform designed for JioFiber and Jio AirFiber customers across India. The service transforms a Jio set-top box into a fully functional personal computer, requiring only a keyboard, mouse, and internet connection. This allows users to access a desktop experience without purchasing expensive PC hardware.
With 100GB of cloud storage and built-in access to select artificial intelligence (AI) tools, JioPC aims to make computing more accessible and affordable. The company is offering customers a one-month free trial, pre-installed on Jio devices, giving them the chance to experience the service before committing to a subscription.
Pricing and Plans
The entry-level JioPC plan starts at ₹599 per month. Customers can also opt for a two-month plan at ₹999. For long-term use, Jio offers a six-month plan at ₹2,499 that includes 8 months of access, and a 12-month plan at ₹4,599 offering 15 months of access. All prices are exclusive of GST.

JioPC runs on Jio’s cloud servers and delivers a virtual Ubuntu Linux desktop. The setup features a quad-core CPU, 8GB RAM, and 100GB cloud storage, ensuring smooth performance for everyday tasks.
