By joining Red Hat’s partner ecosystem, Kryptos will provide a gateway to cloud managed service providers, hosting providers and system integrators that offer Red Hat Solutions.

Rajesh Rege, Managing Director, Red Hat India said, “As customers in India look for new and innovative sourcing models in the IT industry, we expect to see the public cloud services market expand, particularly in the open source arena. We look forward to working closely with Kryptos Networks India to help drive open source adoption in the cloud and managed service sector in India as well as supporting the company via our established and experienced partners.”

Head quartered in Chennai, Kryptos Networks India supports IT service providers looking to move to the cloud. Prasanna Kumar, CEO & Managing Director, Kryptos Networks India Pvt. Strong vendor support and best practices are required, as many of these businesses are service level agreement (SLA)-driven. We are excited to partner with Red Hat to help enterprise IT customers, ISVs and partners build competencies on enterprise open source solutions, in turn helping them optimize business operations.”

According to Gartner, the public cloud services market in India will reach US$838 million in 2015, and is expected to more than double to US$1.9 billion in 2018.[1] The growth of the cloud services market in India reflects the demand for new sourcing models, as an alternative to traditional Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) offerings. Through this collaboration, Red Hat will gain access to the large network of cloud and service providers who use Kryptos Networks, which in turn can enhance Red Hat’s reach into the flourishing Indian IT market.

“Through this collaboration, customers can potentially see lowered capital expenditures, leading to innovation with fewer risks, and enhanced time-to-market with new solution offerings”, Rajesh further added.

Red Hat’s Certified Cloud and Solution Provider designation is awarded to Red Hat partners following validation by Red Hat. Each provider must meet testing and certification requirements to demonstrate that they can deliver a safe, scalable, supported and consistent environment for enterprise cloud deployments. The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Solution Provider program provides customers, ISVs (Independent Software Vendors), and partners with the confidence that Red Hat product experts have validated the solution so that implementations can begin with a solid foundation.
