Realme X7 Series Launch Approved in India

Realme X7 series will be presented in the country in 2021, and the realme India CEO approves it on Twitter. The line-up consists of 2 smartphones which are Realme X7 and X7 Pro, that were presented in China at the beginning of September which is a relatively affordable 5G smartphone. Now, the CEO has shared that realme plans to democratize 5G technology in the year 2021 in India with the X7 series. Till now, there has not been any fixed date for the launch but the X7 series can be expected in 2021’s 1st quarter.

The CEO has tweeted that Realme was the 1st to bring 5G smartphones to India with X50 Pro which was launched in 2020’s February. He has added that the X7 series will democratize 5G technology in the year, 2021. The X7 series has X7 and X7 Pro and apparently, both the smartphones will make their way to the Indian market. While the date hasn’t been fixed but they can be expected in the 1st quarter or 1st ½ of 2021.
In the month of September, speculations of X7 Lite began to surface and the smartphone was supposedly seen in a TENAA listing with model no. RMX2173. The smartphone is expected to be a toned-down and more budget-friendly version of Realme X7, but realme has not shared any data on it.

Specifications
Both smartphones arrive with dual-SIM support and they can run on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. The X7 features a full-HD+ AMOLED display of pixel resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 of 6.4-inch while the X7 Pro has a Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz of 6.55-inch. The vanilla X7 is powered by the octa-core Dimensity 800U SoC and the Pro model arrives with the octa-core Dimensity 1000+ SoC. Users get a RAM of 8GB and storage of 128GB on X7 and up to 256GB on X7 Pro.

In terms of cameras, the X7 arrives with a primary shooter of 64mp, a sensor of 8mp, a black and white portrait sensor of 2mp, and a macro shooter of 2mp. At the front, there is a sensor of 32mp. However, the X7 Pro arrives with almost the same configuration with few not so major differences.

The X7 is backed by a battery of 4,300mAh whereas the X7 Pro is backed by a battery of 4,500mAh. Both the smartphones support 65W fast charging.
