Philips Announced The Launch Of 4k Mobile In India

Philips Mobile announced the launch of two new Philips Mobile 2442015-309feature phones – E310 and E160. With powerful battery and user-friendliness the two phones aim to simplify mobile phone usage for consumers. The two phones live up to the Philips mobile legacy of long-lasting battery life, thus ensuring extended talk time for consumers.

With the popularity of mobile phones in India, the user profile in India is diverse and a majority of Indians are opting for feature phones. As per IDC’s Asia Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker Q42015 the Indian feature phone market accounted for 65 % of the mobile phone market share, while smartphones accounted for 35 % of the market share. Affordability, ease-of-use, low maintenance and long battery life are the key reasons why consumers adopt feature phones in India.

The new Philips mobile devices address these conveniences in addition to several unique features to make the phone useful to specific target segments.

E310

The successor of the Philips X2566, the E310 has been designed for senior citizens based on feedback from over 10,000 consumer across the world. The phone has a reduced thickness of 16mm, making it convenient and light to hold. The phone also has a 1630 mAH battery that supports a total talktime of 25 hours and 50 days of standby time. The phone comes with a 0.3 MP camera and FM support. As with the X2566, the phone comes with a ‘Magnifier’, ‘SOS function’ and Powerful Flashlight.

E160

The Philips E160 features world-class technology in a compact package, including dual SIM support. The phone supports up to 8 hours of talk time, and 35 days of standby time. The phone comes with several entertainment rich feature a 0.3 MP Digital Camera an MP3 Player, FM Radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, and Bluetooth. It has a memory of 8MB and a MicroSD memory card slot with support of up to 16 GB capacity.

Philips Mobile has a range of smartphones and feature phones in the Indian market. In the feature phone range, Philips Xenium X2566, S308 and E130 are currently available in the market. In the smartphone range Philips sells Xenium W6610 and W3500.

Pricing                                                                                                      The E310 is priced at Rs 3,200 and the E160 is priced is Rs. 1,700.
