The last decade has seen immense development of high rise societies in the Delhi NCR region. These societies are some of the plushest in their category offering world class amenities to its residents. One of the persistent hassles that residents in such societies face however; is the existing recharge system which depends on the physical deposit of cash in order to continue using residential facilities and utilities.

PayUMoney now aids these housing societies and enhances the ease and comfort for the residents when it comes to paying for utility services. The integration of PayUMoney into the systems now enables the occupants to pay for essential charges, 24/7 and 365 days a year.

The company currently offers its services to over 450 societies across India.Β  The list of real estate builders who have integrated PayUMoney into their services are Emaar MGF,Β  Omaxe, Prateek Group, Siddha Group, Gaur sons, Ashiana Housing, Ireo, ild, DLF properties, MVN, CHD developer, Bhasin Group etc.

Vikrant Khorana, SVP & Business Head, PayU India, commented, β€œAlmost every major society operates on recharge electricity these days. The only way to recharge it is by physically going to the society office and paying cash in order to get the recharge done. In most cases, the flat owners are working professionals who leave early in the morning for their offices and come back late in the evening, while the society offices usually functions from 10 am to 6 pm. This integration helps them make payments anytime, anywhere. The luxuries that these societies offer are now being taken a notch higher with the introduction of PayUMoney into their systems.”

This incorporation has not only been beneficial for the residents of the housing societies but also for the society officials, as they do not have to handle large chunks of cash and the money directly gets deposited in the bank accounts. This allows them time to expedite payment for such essential charges in a hassle-free and seamless manner.
