panasonic Eluga Arc 2 handset With fingerprint Sensor Announced @ Rs 12,290

Panasonic has launched its latest smartphone – Eluga Arc x1-01-1470041588.jpg.pagespeed.ic.TJkTStRgsx2, in India. Priced at Rs 12,290, the smartphone will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colour options and is said to be the successor of the earlier launched Eluga Arc.

The Eluga Arc 2 has an aluminium alloy frame design and its display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass.

In terms of specifications, Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 features a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone offers 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and offers hybrid dual-sim functionality. It sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies. The device also has an infrared sensor and is backed by a 2,450mAh battery. Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Last month, Panasonic launched its Eluga Note budget smartphone. Priced at Rs 13,920, the smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with Panasonic’s FitHome UI layer.

Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage and which can be further expanded by installing a microSD card. The VoLTE-capable device sports a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter.
