Outreach Program for NGIS & CHUNAUTI 4.0 by STPI – Jaipur on 19th July 2022

The government of India is executing “CHUNAUTI 4.0 under Next Generation Incubation Scheme” through the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) (NGIS). In order to strengthen the local start-up ecosystem operating in 12 tier-II/tier-III sites across India, the NGIS plan has been developed and conceptualised, with Jaipur chosen as one of the locations.

Through CHUNAUTI 4.0, STPI seeks to find and promote innovative startups working toward digital transformation and accessible products/solutions allowing equitable and inclusive growth. This is done to support the localised innovations from Tier II & III cities.

The Next Generation Incubation Scheme (NGIS), CHUNAUTI 4.0, start-up challenge, focused on startups working toward digital transformation and accessible products/solutions enabling equitable and inclusive growth, was organised by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Jaipur on July 19, 2022 in LNMIIT, Jaipur. Sh. Raj Kumar Verma Joint Director & Officer In-Charge, STPI Rajasthan, Sh. Avadhesh Kumar, Additional Director, STPI Gurugram, Sh. Tarun Taunk, Director (Informatic Computech Pvt. Ltd.), CEO (IT Voice Media Pvt. Ltd.), Chief Editor (IT Voice), and Dr. Kamal Kishore Khatri, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical-Mechatronics Engineering, The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur (LNMIIT), shared their thoughts and highlighted the advantages during the outreach programme.

Under the programme, financial incentives and funding support are given. Each beneficiary/supported start-up chosen through CHUNAUTI under NGIS would receive a seed capital of up to Rs. 25.00 Lakhs from a financial institution based on their unique idea, novel solutions, strong team, and excellent business model.

Starting businesses at the ideation stage may be chosen for the pre-incubation programme and mentored for up to six months to develop their business plans and solutions around the suggested idea. For a maximum of six months, each intern (startup in pre-incubation) will get a monthly salary of Rs. 10,000.
