Oppo R15 and R15 Plus to sport iPhone X-like design and features

It seems that along with the customers, smartphone companies are also very much impressed by the design aesthetics of the iPhone X. Now, it is reported that Chinese manufacturer Oppo is also working on a new smartphone which is said to sport an iPhone X like design.
According to a teaser posted by the company on Weibo, the company will soon launch the Oppo R15 and R15 Plus and both devices will come with the notch design. Apart from the notch, both smartphones are lookalikes of the iPhone X. The smartphones offer slim bezels on top and sides same as the iPhone X.

Along with the design, Oppo is also working on implementing the 3D sensing technology in the smartphones so that users can get facial recognition and animated emoji feature. It is also expected that both handsets will come with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with Color OS 4.0 out-of-the-box. It is also said that the device can be powered by the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series platform with support for AI.

Earlier this year, Oppo launched its A57 selfie smartphone in India priced at Rs 14,990. The smartphone comes with a 16MP front shooter with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The rear of the device houses a 13MP camera with LED flash.

The handset comes with a 5.2-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. It’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There’s also 32GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards.
