Oppo seems all set to launch its N1 Mini smartphone in the country, as it has started teasing the device on its official Oppo Mobiles India Twitter account.

The Chinese manufacturer on Sunday tweeted an image of the Oppo N1 Mini with the message “Revolutionary 24 Mega Pixels Ultra HD Camera, Coming Soon!”, along with the tagline ‘Mini in size, Max on fun’ captioning the image.

While the Oppo N1 Mini only features a 13-megapixel swivel camera, the smartphone is said to be able to shoot photos up to 24-megapixel in size when shooting in Ultra-HD mode – what the company is touting in its teaser tweet. Notably, the Oppo N1 Mini smartphone was launched along with the Oppo R3 in June at an event in China. The Oppo N1 Mini was priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 25,700), while Oppo R3 was priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 21,800).

The Oppo N1 Mini is a single-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with the company’s custom skin, ColorOS 1.4, on top of it. It features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixel) display made by JDI. It packs a 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone sports a rotating 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor camera with LED flash.

The Oppo N1 Mini comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, while there is no expandable storage support. The N1 Mini supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE and 3G connectivity options. The smartphone is backed by a 2140mAh battery, and is 9.2mm thick with a weight of 150 grams. It comes in White, Blue and Yellow colour options.

Oppo had made its foray into the Indian smartphone market with the Oppo N1 in January. The smartphone had recently received a price cut in India, coming down from Rs. 39,999 to Rs. 32,990, making it roughly Rs. 7,000 cheaper.
