OnePlus 12 said to sport a periscope zoom camera and the same old design

OnePlus is gearing up to release its first foldable smartphone next month, but leaks about its upcoming flagship device, the OnePlus 12, have already started to emerge. According to recent leaks from OneLeaks and SmartPrix, the OnePlus 12 might feature a periscope zoom camera, marking the company’s first foray into this technology. The leaked design suggests that the main and ultrawide angle cameras will be positioned at the top, while the periscope lens will be placed at the bottom. The camera system is expected to be developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, the renowned camera manufacturer.

Previous leaks have indicated that the OnePlus 12 will boast a 6.7-inch OLED display with quad-HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The device is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope camera for enhanced zoom capabilities. The OnePlus 12 is also rumored to house a substantial 5000mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.

As for the launch timeline, it is anticipated that the OnePlus 12 will be unveiled approximately six months from now, suggesting an early release next year. Fans of OnePlus can look forward to the company’s innovative advancements in smartphone technology with the upcoming OnePlus 12.
