OfficeYes.com wins Most Innovative eRetailer Award at Indian eRetail 2013

OfficeYes.com, India’s largest stationery & supplies company, has emerged victorious at the 2013 Indian eRetail Awards, taking home the award for “Most Innovative eRetailer” for its corporate microsite innovation. With thousands of business customers acquired in less than a year, including Google, Microsoft, HCL, Bajaj Capital and a number of Tata Group companies, the microsite innovation is the next step in OfficeYes.com’s drive towards being the e-commerce portal of choice for all Indian enterprises.

After accepting the award from Gaurav Marya, Chairman of Franchise India Holdings, OfficeYes.com Co-Founder and MD Arvind Sivdas commented “We started with one computer in a small room last year, and in less than 10 months we have grown to a 100-person company, with 3,000 plus business customers. This is an incredible achievement and this award is a reflection of the hard work of our entire team. We are delighted to have won, especially in the innovation category – a core value of our organization, such that each day we encourage our staff to use innovation to solve whatever business challenges arise.”

The microsite feature assists large corporate businesses with their procurement via unique, company-branded microsites. Each corporate microsite features the products that are required by that company on a regular basis, at fixed prices, along with an e-approval system, allowing admin managers / department heads to approve purchase requests electronically. So far OfficeYes.com has signed up dozens of companies for its corporate microsite offering, including GE, LeasePlan and the Canadian High Commission.

Siddharth Nambiar, Co-Founder and MD, commenting on the announcement said, “The corporate microsite is a fantastic resource for large businesses – it allows them to manage their procurement in a vastly more efficient way. It features unique product categories on the basis of their needs and specifications, thereby creating an unbelievably simple office supplies ordering system.”

Arvind Sivdas added, “Indian businesses are currently hugely underserved by the e-commerce wave that is revolutionizing the personal consumption behavior and choice. We have already been hugely successful in attracting thousands of business customers via our core website, and the microsite has allowed us to take the next step in serving the needs of business via tailor-made electronic solutions.”
