Nokia 6 3GB RAM Version gets a Price Cut in India

HMD Global, the company that holds the license to manufacture Nokia-branded smartphones, launched the Nokia 6 smartphone with 3GB RAM last year in June. The company has now slashed the price of the smartphone.

Launched at Rs 14,999, the smartphone has got a price drop of Rs 1,500 and is now selling at Rs 13,499. The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon India website. Along with this, the e-tailer is also giving an exchange offer of Rs 12,111 with the smartphone. Customers can also avail the EMI option starting at Rs 642 per month.
For those unaware, the Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The handset runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.
The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by installing a microSD card. The device comes with hybrid dual SIM functionality and sports a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash. There is also an 8MP front shooter with wide angle lens for selfies.

Measuring 154 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, the device is backed by a 3000mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Silver and Matte Black colour options.

Recently, Nokia launched a series of smartphones at MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. The company later announced that it will bring the devices to India in April this year.

“All smartphones will start trickling in April onwards” HMD spokesperson told when asked about timeline for roll out in India. HMD here unveiled four smartphones, Nokia 8 Sirocco , Nokia 7 Plus , new Nokia 6 and Nokia 1 , in the price range of EUR 85 to EUR 749.
